👋 Meet the Government’s First AI Employee
GSA Trains Internal AI, Goblin Assistants, and Google Isn't Dead
“The potential benefits of AI are vast, from revolutionizing healthcare to tackling climate change. It’s a chance to create a better future for all.”

The AI Breakdown
Uncle Sam’s Newest Intern

AI just got a government job, and it’s not here to push papers.
The General Services Administration (GSA) has spent 18 months developing an internal AI tool to streamline federal work while keeping security airtight. Unlike commercial AI models, this one was built in-house to prevent sensitive data from passing through third-party systems.
Supporters argue that building an AI model internally ensures greater security oversight, but skeptics warn that any system processing large amounts of sensitive information is a potential target. Even if the AI itself is locked down, the human element—how employees use (or misuse) it—introduces risks.
Federal workers aren’t required to use it yet, but GSA is encouraging adoption to test its effectiveness. Acting Administrator, Stephen Ehikian, compared AI’s potential in government to the introduction of personal computers, signaling broader AI integration across agencies.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk, head of DOGE, has championed AI for government efficiency. His controversial "employee pulse check" email to federal workers was rumored to have AI involvement, though he denied it.
With the government stepping into AI, the real test will be whether it enhances productivity—or just becomes another bureaucratic experiment. Time will tell.

Google Isn’t Dead
"SEO is dead." "Google is dead." "AI is taking over search." You’ve probably heard the hot takes.
But, Dave Spannhake (Founder and CEO of Reunion Marketing) says that Google isn’t going anywhere. It’s still the top stop for car buyers, and AI isn’t replacing it anytime soon.
Search volume is at an all-time high, with 88% market share still in Google’s grip. Even among AI-curious consumers, 99% still rely on Google for their final decisions. While tools like ChatGPT are gaining traction, they lack the local accuracy and deep integration that make Google the go-to for in-market shoppers.
Organic search remains the biggest lead driver for dealerships. Yet, some dealers are scaling back SEO, assuming their rankings will hold. That’s a costly mistake. Competitors who keep investing are climbing, while those who pull back are losing visibility—and sales.
AI is evolving, but it’s not replacing search. If your dealership isn’t showing up in Google, you’re missing out on real buyers. Read the full breakdown here.
